    Hi Laura, I think this question may fall a little bit outside the areas of expertise of the Solar Week scientists. This is probably a better question to ask an archaeologist! I did take a few anthropology courses a long time ago when I was in college, so I will do the best I can to answer your question...

    Hi George, I'm not an expert on this topic, but I think it is very interesting because I took a lot of anthropology courses in college. The pyramids were built primarily to be the tombs of Egyptian Pharaohs, so I don't think they were used to study the sun. However, the sun god Ra and other gods...
