I like night-time astronomy, do any of you do astrophotography as a hobby?, if so, show an example, thanks...

    Hi Debra,

I haven't done any astrophotography using a telescope, but I have taken some photos of the aurora borealis or northern lights during a large geomagnetic storm when the northern lights could be seen where I live in Iowa.  I would include one of my photos here, but I don't have any available online that I can link to.

We love to take fisheye stills and videos to use in our planetarium domes. Here is one of my favorites, taken from the eclipse in China in 2008: I call it "dragon eats sun" because it looks like that cloud is eating the eclipse! http://space.rice.edu/eclipse/solar_eclipse_2008/eclipse_REIFF2909s.jpg
