Dr. Patricia Reiff is the Director of the Rice Space Institute and Professor of Physics and Astronomy. She received her Ph.D. in 1975 working on the Apollo program, and has analyzed space data ever since, working with AE, DE, Polar, Cluster, and IMAGE data. She is the lead for EPO for the MMS mission. Her outreach program (http://earth.rice.edu) includes the development of a portable immersive theater for schools and small museums. Her husband, Tom Hill, is also a scientist, working presently with Cassini. They have three children.
